Attendees were welcomed the night before with a delicious dinner at the Peninsula Grill while participating in discussions about hospital readmissions, hospital relationships and how this can affect reimbursement.
Bruce Bailey, President and CEO of Tidelands Health presented information on future reimbursement to hospitals and how developing a relationship with your local hospital is imperative for best outcomes to residents. Bruce is a graduate of The Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
There was a full slate of educational offerings on Thursday 8/16 that included topics such as DEA updates, Dementia and Alzheimer’s 101, Giving back in your facilities, and Soul in Leadership. The conference was very interactive.
Attendees were treated to the famous “Winyah Skit” and enjoyed having time away from their respective facilities for some education along with fun and fellowship. There were more than 125 attendees present.
