Winyah Pharmacy recently hosted the 6th annual educational symposium at the Belmond Charleston Place in historic downtown Charleston, South Carolina.
More than 100 administrators, director of nurses and other key facility personnel attended the event to learn about reduction of psychoactive medications, institutional drug diversion, and changes in industry culture. Before the educational symposium, a dinner program was held by Novonordisk and enjoyed by more than 70 attendees.
This year’s presenters included Greg Thompson of Premier Senior Living, Tony Fountain of Westminster Towers, and Edward Cartwright of Pharma. Thank you all for your insight of a number of different topics.
We would also like to thank the multiple partners who sponsored this event and provided us with opportunities throughout the day to share information and ideas with each other.
