On April 28, 2015 Winyah Pharmacy attended the annual South Carolina Health Care Association (SCHCA) Conference hosted at Kingston Plantation Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. SCHCA has been servicing the geriatric population for 60 years, and it has been a long-standing tradition for Winyah Pharmacy to attend and support the organization.
The theme of the conference was “Heroes of HealthCare” and was attended by more than 400 owners, administrators, directors of nursing and other facility staff. The conference provided information on a variety of topics, including how to be a heroic leader, regulatory updates, star ratings and time management.
There was a drawing for door prizes provided by exhibiting participants– always one of the highlights of the conference and trade show. It was a privilege for Winyah Pharmacy to participate and exhibit at this conference. We look forward to future events and our continued partnership with the SCHCA.
