This month’s employee spotlight is Penny Allen. In November, Penny will celebrate her 43rd anniversary with our billing department at Winyah Pharmacy! Penny has experienced multiple changes in our industry and has mastered them all. We are very thankful to have Penny as a lead billing specialist in our billing department. She fights on behalf of our customers to get every claim and medication paid through insurance.
When she is not at work, Penny enjoys spending time with her two grandchildren, watching them dance and play baseball. She especially likes to hang out with them by the pool, beach, or lake.
What does Penny love most about her Job? She loves all the people she works with and she feels that we are truly like family. She likes that she is always busy and there is always something new to learn every day! She also feels that she is an advocate for her residents and their families when it comes to managing their prescription costs.
