On August 13 and 14, Winyah Pharmacy held its annual educational event in historic downtown Charleston, SC. More than 100 of Winyah’s partners joined for the fun and festivities, including an enjoyable dinner at a five star restaurant.
Winyah Pharmacy staff presented a hilarious yet educational skit demonstrating medication safety. Other presentations covered Alzheimer’s and dementia and how these diagnoses impact many residents in our industry. The event was wrapped up with a motivational session on how to make your day successful and productive.

The entire event was very interactive – with role playing and games – and proved that the Winyah Pharmacy family and our partners can combine education and fun to produce great results. In addition, all who attended received continuing education units.
Winyah Pharmacy looks forward to returning to Charleston next year to host another exciting educational symposium!
